Meet Quill, Keeper of the Letters

Quill is the letter sprite who carries every child's wish north, and this festive season, he is waiting for yours.

Long before Santa reads a single word, it is Quill who gathers the letters and guards them on their journey. With his magic quill he signs every child's letter, and it is that golden signature that makes sure each one reaches him, and ultimately reaches Santa.

At Dear Santa, your family follows your own letter through six enchanted rooms, meeting Quill and his friends along the way, before the doors of Santa's Cabin open, and you find he is already expecting you, your letter read and your name known.

The Dear Santa Experience

The Secret Journey of Your Letter

Every year, millions of letters are written to Santa, but most people never know what happens next.

Dear Santa takes guests on the secret journey of their letter, from the moment they put pen to paper, to the moment it lands in Santa's hands.

Where it begins

The Wishing Nook

Arrive early and settle into the Wishing Nook. If your letter isn't written yet, this is where wishes find their words, with quills, paper and helpful elves at the ready.

Snowy, candy-lit trees along the Winter Walk

The first step north

The Winter Walk

The doors open and the temperature of the world changes. The Winter Walk is the path every letter takes: frost, lantern-light and the first signs that someone small and golden has flown this way before you.

Costumed elves welcoming families in Sugarplum Square

The heart of the journey

Sugarplum Square

In the square where letters rest before the long flight north, Quill reads yours. Watch closely: when he signs it with his golden quill, the ink vanishes, because a wish that is truly meant becomes invisible to everyone but Santa.

The sending

The Wishing Forest

Deep among the trees, the elves teach your family the sending incantation, the old words that give a letter wings. Say them together. The forest listens.

Inside the Letter Lodge, where letters are sealed and posted

Sealed and sent

The Letter Lodge

Every letter needs the official seal. At the Letter Lodge your letter is stamped, sealed and posted for the final time, straight into the stream of wishes flowing north. From here, it travels faster than sleighs.

Santa's cabin, warm and glowing with festive light

He already knows

Santa's Cabin

The cabin door opens and Santa looks up, because he's been expecting you. Your letter made it. He knows what's in it. Now there's nothing left to do but talk, laugh, and have the moment photographed forever.

How long is the experience?

The journey itself takes around 20 minutes from the moment you step into the Winter Walk. To make the most of it, we suggest arriving about 20 minutes earlier, so allow roughly 40 minutes in all. That extra time is for writing letters in the Wishing Nook and helping Quill find the missing feather of his magic quill.

Photos & gifts

Every child ticket includes a gift from Santa's workshop. Take your own photos throughout the journey, and in Santa's Cabin our photographer captures the moment your child discovers Santa already knows their name. Professional photos and keepsakes are available after your visit.

Whispering Winter sessions

Festive magic belongs to every child. Our Whispering Winter sessions are quieter, calmer journeys designed for children with Special Educational Needs and sensory sensitivities: softer sound, gentler lighting, smaller groups.

Your booking time is your entry time

The time you choose at booking is the moment your family steps inside. Arrive at least 20 minutes early to settle in, write your letter in the Wishing Nook and lend Quill a hand before your journey begins.
